I’m happy to share this space with the artists of EYE LIVE WILD. Mike has been asking me for years to contribute something, anything. His patient prodding finally wore me down.

I remember when EYE LIVE WILD was just a notion. Mike wanted to create a community of artists and get their work out to the world. We had many conversations about this project while living as ski bums in Driggs, Idaho. This was a formative experience for us both and it influenced the mission and the aesthetics of this site. You can see photographs of the Grand Teton region in Mike’s PORTFOLIO. The visual art found here demonstrates the idea that everything the EYE sees is dynamic and deserves a second look. We spent six months as travelers feeling foreign in our own country. I’d like to share some snapshots from that time and place. Welcome to EAST IDAHO.
